Environmenally friendly school canopies.

At Fusion Shelters (UK) Ltd. we supply POCCA school canopies across Devon, Somerset and the South and South West of the UK, which are made with the environment very much in mind.

The bespoke school canopies and school shades from POCCA are made from 100% recyclable materials, as are the POCCA school walkways.

Also, the fact that the shades are made from a unique tensile membrane means that they have a much longer life span than the polycarbonate roofs which may have been used in the past for canopies and walkways. Also, unlike polycarbonate roofs, bespoke POCCA school shades are translucent, meaning they can let natural light in, reducing the need for electric lighting. Polycarbonate roofs also don't allow for shade in the summer and can make the area they are covering very hot, whereas the shades we supply provide protection from the elements all year around without getting overly hot in the summer.

POCCA staff are trained and educated on an ongoing basis on with regards to environmental issues, whilst POCCA constantly seek to minimise their waste by evaluating their product designs and processes to ensure they are as efficient as possible, whilst always looking to improve their carbon footprint.
